Nelson Paul specialises in wildlife, pet portraiture and portraits of people. Working in acrylics, oils, pastels and charcoal, he combines technical precision with close observation to capture the character and individuality of each subject.
My Artistic Practice
Working across acrylics, oils, pastels and charcoal, Nelson explores the character of wildlife, the companionship of pets and the individuality of people. His portraits bring careful observation and expressive detail to paper and canvas.
Art Beyond Words
Through Nelsonpaulart, Nelson brings together his love of portraiture and wildlife under one guiding idea: Art Beyond Words. Each work invites the viewer to look closely, recognise character and discover a personal connection.
